eHealth innovation consortium members participate in EIP Action Group on integrated care

Consortium members EHTEL, Connected Health Campus and COCIR are actively engaging in the work of the EIP Action Group B3 on Integrated Care. The group, chaired by George Crooks, NHS Scotland, has delivered a realistic but challenging action plan designed to encourage, enthuse and inspire health and care providers, along with industry and academia, to collaborate with patients, service users and carers to form partnerships to deliver innovative service redesign. This work will be underpinned by a commitment to patient empowerment, education and training for all stakeholders (workforce, patients and carers), supported by technology, where safe and effective to do so.

eHealth innovation will contribute and monitor in particular to the Action Group's activities in the domain of care pathway implementation, patient empowerment and electronic health records.
