via Olgettina 60, 20132 Milan, Italy
The 3rd eHealth Innovation workshop reviews the progress of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing (EIP AHA), in particular, the action groups A1 on health literacy and adherence to treatment, and B3 for integrated care for chronic diseases. Common themes and challenges are discussed with major focus on person-centred health and care services supported by ICT. The host of the workshop, the Ospedale San Raffaele (http://www.hsr.it/) develops new business and delivery models of health and care based on the hospital as a social and knowledge hub for disease prevention and treatment using ICT.
In the morning, the EIP A1 and B3 groups will be given an opportunity to provide an overview of the themes which require attention and could benefit from external input. Staff members from San Raffaele will demonstrate their vision, business models and technology. The last part will be dedicated to targeted workshop sessions on scalability of innovation themes identified and measures required implementing them, applicable to diverse organisational environments in Europe. Special attention will be given on topics relevant to A1 and B3 action groups.
This by invitation only workshop is organised by the eHealth Innovation project – a Thematic Network co-funded by the European Commission.
